Our Relationship with SoLoVision
SoLoSpeak is a SoLoVision LLC product. This addendum supplements the main SoLoVision privacy policy and explains app-specific handling for the web reader workspace and Chrome extension.
Data We Process
SoLoSpeak may process pasted text, selected webpage text, readable page text, imported TXT, Markdown, PDF, EPUB, voice preferences, provider choices, playback settings, account profile fields from Logto, support conversations, and privacy-conscious analytics events.
AI And Speech Providers
When a hosted voice provider is selected, the text needed to generate audio is sent to that provider from the extension or web server. Provider API keys are not written to public documentation, tracked env files, or analytics payloads.
Analytics, Monitoring, And Support
The web app records first-party events such as page views, imports, reader activation, support clicks, and account-session activity in Appwrite. Sentry, UptimeRobot, Netdata, and Chatwoot help us operate the service, diagnose failures, and respond to support requests.
Retention And Deletion
Browser storage is limited to non-content reader preferences such as selected voice, speed, volume, and extension connection details. Private reader library items, imported files, generated audio metadata, and drafts require sign-in and are stored in the account-backed Appwrite workspace. Users can request deletion of account, support, and analytics records through SoLoVision support. Some security, billing, abuse-prevention, backup, or legal records may be retained as described in the master policy.
